Both programs will be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington, DC, from June 28-July 1, 2015.

Members of the press or media are eligible for a complimentary registration to all sessions at the programs, and may attend the luncheons for a small fee. To register as press for these programs, contact Allison Beard (202) 833-0779, or email abeard@healthlawyers.org.

AHLA President-Elect and Annual Meeting Chair Lois Dehls Cornell of Tufts Health Plan says that this year’s program is “rich with content and dynamic speakers, offering the most current information and analysis of myriad legal issues the health care industry is facing, including sessions on transactional issues, reimbursement, tax, privacy and security, antitrust, fraud and compliance, labor and employment, and more.”

Monday, June 29 will feature a keynote presentation from Ezekiel J. Emanuel, Chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. Other speakers will provide insider perspectives on the future of health care reform and the ramifications of today’s Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Care Act subsidies.

The AHLA Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to hear directly from government sector speakers, many of whom are directly involved in crafting regulations and policies. Speakers will include representatives from the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the Office of Inspector General, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of the Treasury, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, the HHS Office of General Counsel, and more. Attendees will also have many opportunities to hear from more than 100 leading in-house and outside counsel, consultants, health professionals, and academicians.
